Bret has close to 30 years experience in finance, operations & technology and the last 10 with a property development focus.
Early career opportunities with major financial institutions provided a core foundation of banking, broking and funds management operations on a global scale. This period also coincided with unprecedented changes in technology and within our regulatory environment that was the impetus for Bret to eagerly work with organisations that pursued innovation in becoming industry leaders.
Bret has worked in a wide range of roles including Business Engineer, Project Manager and Consultant for many leading Australian and international financial institutions. Bret has played an important part in many technological and operational advancements within the finance industry including his time on the Omgeo Advisory Board and worked with many well respected organisations including ANZ, Perpetual, HiPortfolio, DST, County NatWest, Trust Company, UBS Warburg, JBWere, Citibank, Wellington Management and Goldman Sachs.
In 2005, Bret resigned from Goldman Sachs JBWere as Head of Operations (Funds Management) and focused on Property Development where he joined Wallis Watson (a boutique property development group, based on the Mornington Peninsula) as a partner. During that time Bret established Wallis Levenspiel and a website development company (Mygalaxy).
Bret continues to seek innovation in all aspects of business.
